Meet Dr. Mitch Ibach
Dr. Mitch Ibach, an optometrist at Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, SD since 2014, performs advanced anterior surgery care and pathology services for his patients. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Ibach is often invited to speak at national optometry conferences like the American Academy of Optometry. His talks focus on glaucoma, refractive surgery, and cataract surgery. Dr. Ibach is also affiliated with the South Dakota Optometric Association and the Optometric Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Society.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Ibach attended North Dakota State University and graduated with a degree in Microbiology in 2009. He then attended the Pacific University College of Optometry where he graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Ibach completed his fellowship training at Minnesota Eye Consultants with a concentration on cornea and refractive surgery, external disease, and glaucoma.
Dr. Ibach is affiliated with the South Dakota Optometric Association and the Optometric Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Society.
